Cant you get lead poisoning from the vapors?

striping or blasting anything causes cancer. I am even afraid to cut bricks or concrete anymore.

LOL

Yikes! 80 year old paint very likely has lead. High heat guns and propane torches are now illegal for contractors and definitely vaporize toxic lead. Quiet, faster heating of shoebox-size area at 400 releases releases no lead fumes using eco-strip infrared paint remover.

Use aircraft remover. Spray it on then sit back and enjoy the show.

I still find the propane torch works quicker but it is a little more dangerous and also messy (burning flakes of paint) and the risk of fire but it is a lot quicker. Another way of removing paint is with a course aggressive sanding machine depending on what you're stripping

did the same ERROR years ago with a industrial heat gun. never again. took me ages to complete 6 pairs of shutters and windows. NEVER AGAIN!

At the end he gives up and drops a camera...

For really fast paint removal I use a propane torch ..once the building catches
fire its only a matter of a few minutes till the problem is solved.
Bring a six pack and kick back and watch the firemen at work.
Fast, easy, fun solution to a difficult job.
