@mikeymarshful I believe the bats are his way of replicating the actual weapons because he cannot use a broad sword or whip chains out in public. Its highly illegal and will get him arrested. He has really good form though.

hes been doing this particular forms for maby 2 years but hes trained in martial arts for more then 20 years, nearly 30 i think, hes to old and to disciplined to even know what dbz is.

Tai Chi = Great art to practice blazed.
With all due respect.

@DeftJay two years is nothing in a martial art. two years is learning. after a few years you start to perfect what you have learned. try 20 years. O_O

So what are the bats for?

man you remind me of an awesome Jamaican character of Arthur and the invisbles he was laid back and looked pree much like you, if he did that aswell he'd be the movie himself, you should make a movie about how to train your way :)

thai chi with bats & lots of weed
Oh man 2 years, you must be a master.
After many, many years of doing martial arts, things become obscure and you begin to care less about how pretty it looks, even with something as elegant as qisao. I'm pretty sure two years is still within the time frame of the 'I'm a dbz character' mentality.

Styles don't matter, i hate grouping it all into styles. Nobody has the same personality or physique. for an example, some are good at fighting when they cut of the brain, and some fight better with the brain. flexibility, physique and experience plays its role, and so does your state of mind, at the given time. Thats all there is to it when it comes down to actual fighting. If you nail all that, you're pretty much covered. a teacher should never teach, a teacher should guide.
