I never thought this song was about Bill Hicks as a kid and I still don't. Only 5% of the lyrics sound like they're referring to him.

@Muff0o0 dedication is diff. from content. Eulogy is about a martyr. Hicks wasn't a martyr. " He had a lot of NOTHING to say..." is not something you say about someone you like. Hicks and Tool were friends, this song isn't about him. I'm not taking this literally, i'm taking it logically. You may want this song to be about him and I can respect that, but it doesn't make sense.

@DisgustipatedUlaji True, we'll never know the true meaning behind a song, some of my songs are called one thing but mean something different, no one but Tool actually knows the meaning, and the lyrics do remind me of Jesus, he did something simillar in APC, in the song Judith Maynard said "Fuck your God" to his mother because she thought that God existed and hes saying well how could you worship a God that made you like this
