  • he was a hero canadian and remind it hero in canada history

  • How a man could summon up such power of will, determination and spirit is simply beyond me.. This man is truly an inspiration to all of us.. What a powerful man he was and what a powerful legacy he left behind.. This man isn't just a spark of Canadian pride, he's the whole damn fire! R.i.P Terry.. All these years later you are still remembered

  • Terry must be rolling in his grave seeing how the multi-millions raised in his name have been squandered on junk science that only benefits those with a vested interest. What a tragedy that Terry's courageous accomplishments are being subverted year after year in order to deceive and swindle the public.

R.I.P. Terrence Stanley Fox with the knowledge that all truth is being revealed and in time, the charlatans and evil-doers who have purposely deceived the public will all be held accountable.

  • Its Terrible he died. But He is an inspiration to us all

  • @austinhinchey

He had cancer, he should have died.

  • Terry Fox ROCKS he was sooooooooo AWSOME I cant belive he mad it half way thats awsome and better than nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • he found it? ur so dum

  • It depends on how one sees birthdays. I'd say it was his 50th birthday. Birthdays are separate from deathdays. One thing is certain; Terry will be forever young.

I think what what he'd look like now: graying curls, wrinkles in place of freckles, but still with that determination, and leading the fight to cure cancer. Rick Hansen is the model from the fight to cure spinal injuries.

  • Osteogenic sarcoma supposedly has no known origin. Later in the decade, I came across the theory that each cell has two antioncogenes. Sometimes, one is inactive. Then an injury -- such as when Terry ran his car into a truck and banged his knee -- knocks out the other growth-regulating gene.

Osteosarcoma is common among athletic adolescents who have injuries, such as Ted Kennedy Jr. This spontaneity is why Terry insisted that research aim to cure cancer rather than to prevent it.

  • plz can someone tell me how he got the cancer plzzzzz???????????
