The vibe is easy on Easy Street in West Seattle-- far enough from downtown for families and seniors but close enough to keep life interesting for local musicians.

  • This is a great little info vid on West Seattle, I lived in West Seattle, for about 3 years with my family then we moved to New Port Hills, Wa and that was a total change. Always missed Alki Beach!

  • Great short on West Seattle. You hit all the best places, although now the New Luck Toy no longer exists. A friend from Vancouver, who visits me on occasion shared the link and I couldn't be more proud of my neighborhood. Again, great short.

  • I lived in Wes' Seattle in the 90's two blocks from Alki on 60th. Very cool, kind of bohemian and easy going. Friendly people who care about their city...I hung out at Elliot Bay Brewery. People have their favorite non corporate coffee houses. Starbucks is "uncool". Seattles Best is ok. Alki beach is happenin between July and Sept and also New Years Eve. I miss it.

  • White Center in not West Seattle
