  • The seasoning is in the rockweed.

  • No Seasoning is placed on the shellfish. With steamer clams you take the cooked clam, and dip it in melted butter. (some folks - such as myself, put lemon in the butter).

  • Excuse my ignorance, as I've never experienced a clambake. But I don't see how any of the food is seasoned. Are you cooking the shellfish with no salt, or pepper, or were details left out?
