This Saturday just happened to be my birthday and a bunch of friends were asking me where I wanted to go.. I thought about it for a few days and decided I'd love to go hiking, to a cool spot, and simply get out of Los Angeles (proper) for a day. We drove about 15-minutes from my house, up the Pacific Coast Highway, and made a right on Topanga Canyon. From that point forward, the directions will have to be a mystery. I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you. =)~

I used to climb up to this tower every month or so, when I lived in Topaga for the year and a half, that I lived out there.  It was actually walking distance from my driveway. Thanks for sharing your video and conjuring up old memories for me.
