  • Great Job: Thank the Lord for anyone who Plays & Sings Praise to our Lord.Keep up the good work. Phil Roberts of the bluegrass gospel group: THE ROBERTS FAMILY & CRIMSON RIVER. SOUTHERN,INDIANA

  • I loved it! I live in East Tn and this was my grandmother's favorite gospel song. I can still hear her singing harmony to this song in church. She died 9 years ago and I can't help but know that she was singing all the way to the throne of God ! We sing like this in church all the time here in East Tn !

  • This song was recorded about 20 miles from I live in hartford arkansas by delta music recordinds . The town of hartford was a coal mining town and was made famous by the miners who sang on courthouse steps on thier off shift. The gospel co. delta gospels blg. is still standing and can be toured for big ticket price of yes believe it or not 10cents.

  • great job you guys!!

  • Agreed...looked all over youtube til I found the proper rendition to start my day! Thanks guys...started off my day right!

  • reminds me of home in knoxville tn.

  • I think you need to you need to read Greoge Formans book on how he came to christ or pistol petes it will change your life. If you go to my page under page two or three their is Pistols Pete's story on how he came to christ

  • This tune, played by this highly-talented stringband, is one of the best modern-day renditions which manage to retain that key socio / historical / cultural link to the old-time country-folk / mountain-music, white spiritual / gospel music tradition - I can't help but think that old Bascom Lamar Lunsford is happily looking down from above on this performance, gleefully clapping his hands in time to the tune, and maybe even dancing along too, flat-foot style, to this most pleasing performance.

  • they played this song at my friends funeral last week..

    i miss him! =(

he was only 19, but its good to know he went home with God.

    This song was perfect.

  • Very Good! If you like, you can find my video on Youtube under Wayne Weberpal. Best Wishes, Wayne
