Houston Fight Song (with chant!)

FS #71; FSV #65. By now, you know the drill.
The Cougars of the Southwest have a fight song that can cheer you up. I found this on the band site of UH and was the best one I can find in stereo. I say that this logo is better than the main one because it reminds me more of their real-life cougar they used to keep on campus, Shasta (who is the costumed mascot now. [You'll remember HER from the recent scuffle with Oregon's Donald Duck at Autzen Stadium.])

As a former member of the Cougar Marching Band, I can tell you that the band actually says, "...so Fight! Fight! Fight for red and white, and we'll go on to victory" because those are the real lyrics of the song - not, "and we will go to victory."

@mattthetrumpeter I may debate here. I just visited the tradition page on the UH academic website (about/history/traditions.php) and found that that part of the lyric is "and we will go to victory."

I've decided to put off college and try to make something out of my time here on YouTube. Though not a UH student, I GREATLY support them in sports, like their upset of #5 Oklahoma State this past weekend.

Wow! You didn't have to do this for me! =) I do hope to get enrolled in and graduate from the University of Houston. I want Houston football to be among those upper-tier mid-major teams. You know, maybe go back to our Southwest Conference competitive days. I just get so sick of seeing endless highlights of Phi Slamma Jamma losing to North Carolina State and Georgetown. Probably could have been two-time champs... anyhow, it's my hopeful alma mater. Thanks for posting this.
