I would cry
and come undone
but my body has gone numb

it's like the things I do
actually happen to you
shown to me on the silver screen

I just want to belong
but instead I write this song
as the pain comes in waves gradually

It's disrespect on which i've thrived
not laughing, love, or lullabyes
when will i learn

but it's the others
messed up by mothers
that are slowly tearing me down

I always end up in situations
because of my easy persuation
