The last couple of laps, at Cronk-Ny-Mona Wednesday 31/8/2011 500cc Classic/Formula Classic.
RIP no 33 Adam Easton (71), at Lambfell,on the approach to Cronk-Y-Voddy. He was on a Norton. (riding at 1m32sec).
RYAN Farquhar claimed his second win of the week in the 500cc Classic race.He finished nearly two minutes ahead of Chris Palmer on his Paton BIC in the four-lap race
Wattie Brown looked likely to mark his 30th Manx Grand Prix with third, but he was forced to walk his bike in when his Petty Norton threw the big end at Governor's Dip - eventually finishing 10th.
Mark Herbertson took advantage to claim third on his Matchless G50, finishing 42 seconds down on Palmer. Steve Linsdell was fourth and Meredydd Owen fifth.

In the concurrently run Formula Classic race, only Mark Parrett finished from the four bikes that started the class. Manx hopefuls Chris McGahan and David Madsen-Mygdal both led for spells, but mechanical problems forced both to retire.Roy Richardson was forced to retire in the pits at the end of lap two after problems with his brakes.

    Did you have to ask the home owner to watch from the garden ?? looks good, I think Mick Grant watches from around there. You got nearly all of them..really nice mate

  • @sidewaysid Hi, thanks for your comment.There's an embankment with a flat top that's free and easy to get to.Parking too.There are gardens to the left side. Up against the fence you can see down to Signpost. I was the only person there almost the whole time this year.Although it is inside the course you can ride down to the footbridge to cross to the grandstand and watch in both places,if your quick. I try and capture as many riders as possible, not particularly the front runners.Cheers.
