  • @QueenBie08 Carol Vorderman did the numbers. Until 2008 she did the letters (replacing Cathy) and numbers

  • 50 3s is 150, less 10 3s is 120, less 1 is 119, 119 7s is 833.

  • I really enjoyed this - I used to watch Countdown in the '80s when I came home from primary school. Remember Cathy Hytner but not sure who the girl picking the numbers is. Haven't watched it recently - I can't imagine it without Richard Whitely.
