Rabbi Druckman #3, Israel Nativ army, Rabbinical conversion State beit din works with IDF

This is great documentary on army program called Nativ hosted by Shlomo Goldberg. Nativ was started by Religious General Eliezer stern to help russian immigrants do state conversions with help of army. Their conversions are just like state(mamlachti) conversion with same courts but done with army preperation courses for 7 weeks and adopted by orthodox families. They are then tested by beit din courts of Israel after another further few months of study. The process takes 6 months. Rabbi Druckman discusses how we must help them and not lose them since they want to be Jews and are of Jewish seed but not halachically jewish and we must help them not shun them. Clearly the haredi and ultra orthodox are seen as being overly harsh on converts and the regular orthodox rabbis of Israel as fair. Rabbi Druckman is a hero with good soul. There is no difference according to show of army conversion and state conversion. The same courts rabbis must evaluate the converts and media has given impression army conversion is not same as state one and Rabbi Druckman says only difference is that prep coursesd and study classes are happening in army and not privately. A young couple who met in nativ program discuss conversion process. The young girl was teaching converts and is teacher at nativ who is now engaged to young man who studied at nativ. He is from jewish seed but not halachically jewish. The young couple describe their journey. Those who are approved get tefilin, set of milk/meat dishes, shabbat candles etc all paid for by state, Rabbi Amsalem and Rav Ovadia Yosef have accepted army nativ conversions and have been supportive. However Haredi Rabbi Elyashiv protests them and called it assimilation
