  • I think there is no dispute that trans-fats are totally sticky and unhealthy. Please understand trans-fats are not natural saturated fats. Natural saturated fats from healthy sources such as grass-fed animals are NOT unhealthy if eaten in moderation. However, 50% meat protein may not be appropriate unless you are building a lot of muscle mass such as a bodybuilder (though it still contains a lot of saturated fat that has high caloric content.) Your ultimate goal is important to keep in mind.

  • u seriously should read the book by Zoe Harcombe The Obesity Epidemic.. its out on thursday.. Enjoy

  • Sorry, I disagree with some points in this video as well. The saturated fats argument was pretty well disputed by Gary Taubes and Dr. Mercola. It is the presence or over-presence of the blood glucose that makes the arteries "sticky" and leads to the cholesterol problems associated with saturated fats. Remove the high carbs, and you remove the problem.

I too am all about eating real food, but mine more closely is 50% meat / 50% veg by volume or 60% Fat - 30% protein - 10% Carb.
