The only way to end the violence there is to declare temporary martial law, then confiscate all firearms from both the gangs AND the police. However, I'd only approve of such a measure if Jamaica weren't so homophobic. As long as it's okay by the government to arrest and murder people for being gay, the entire country can burst into flames for all I care.
