  • The soloist is awesome!!!!!! One question though....how does the picture frames(im assuming that is what they are) tie in with the show?

  • They had NOTHING to do with the show.

  • (minor correction) Shadowland DOES have percussion, but it was very subtle in the performances. The percussion in this performance was very distracting and just too much in my opinion.

  • (Cont.) The Lioness Chant, however, embodied EXACTLY the feel that it's supposed to, and I enjoyed it immensely!

  • I respect that you guys decided to take Shadowland in a different direction...but I didn't like it. The high notes in the "Fahtse leso" chant really threw it off. The song is supposed to be mournful, ballad-like, and without percussion...and the percussion here REALLY threw off that feel for the song. It made it have a more upbeat feel that's not present in the song. The singing was really great, don't get me wrong. But it gave Shadowland a feel that is just not how Shadowland is supposed to be.

  • Wow i really like their vocal sound! Its so Powerful.I wonder why some people dont think so.Maybe im crazy but thts just my opinion.

  • the frames were a little confusing I'll admit but they're supposed to symbolize change. when people walk through them, that symbolizes that they are taking on something new and different. this ties in with the connection between each piece because it shows how they start off as "robots" and at the end are individuals.

  • it's really in depth and you'd really have to analyze the lyrics to understand but it's too bad no one's seeing the connection between each piece

  • once we were kings is reminiscing on the times when they finally became who and what they wanted to be and rings of the sun is celebrating being who they want to be and if you just be yourself and do what you believe, that's all you really need and you'll be happy. their life in the darkness is over and now they're "dancing"

  • the theme of the set was conformity to finding yourself. in the opening prelude it was like they were all robots, all alike one another, and going into virtuoso although they were still very in sync they were searching for their inner-virtuoso so to speak. in isaac and shadowland they explained how they wanted to leave the darkness and find themselves. the lioness chant was that they had finally found themselves and they were just enjoying themselves. freedom and citizen were the result of that

  • Well.... I'd first like to know how these (seemingly) random selection of repertoire has any connection to each other at all before I figure out their set
