We canoed 30 miles of this creek. It was chilly, but we scratched a few out. Didn't see another canoe the whole trip. It was like a beautiful trout stream only no trout and fat great fighting bass of all species! I would like to go back when there is topwater action. Anyone going there Larry Reed has a canoe livery and campground. He can also provide shuttle service. He's a great guy! His # is 256-447-6990

  • i live on terrapin and dont miss a day of fishing it!!!!! if im not a work, im fishing. its awsome!!!

  • Used to fish Terrapin in the 90's all the time. 4+ pound spots & 50 fish days were not uncommon. I think the dam at the resturant below Stewarts Bridge stopped the shad migration as well as the Striper migration. This great creek is only about %15 of what it once was, It used to be flat out Awesome. Pulled a 5.7 Spot here back in 1996 on a Zara Spook. Still enjoy going back.

  • When yaw going back?

  • when yaw going back?looks like a fun creek to fish
