With 425 horsepower motivating only 2,484 pounds and enough mechanical grip to embarrass most supercars, the 2007 Noble M400 has laid waste to the record books at Inside Line like the Terminator tearing through a cop-filled doughnut shop.

Our testing equipment has definitely had a hard lesson in Newtonian physics. The Noble hit 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, then streaked through the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at almost 120 mph. This makes it the quickest car we've ever tested, leaving behind the Corvette Z06, Ford GT and Porsche 911 Turbo.

The M400 also slices through the slalom at 79.4 mph, nearly 4 mph faster than the previous record-holder, the poised Porsche 911 GT3. The Noble also rips up the skid pad at 1.05g, breaking another standard previously set by the 911 GT3.

The 2007 Noble M400 is a midengine racer with a twin-turbo V6 engine and it looks as raw as its record-busting performance numbers. Yet we've found out that this British-designed kit car can make it on the street as a daily driver. And that's what makes its performance even more stunning.

IT's still part of the ford company ,some may not know that the Volvo is a subsidy company of ford UK the motor is built by volvo which in turn makes the noble another super car in the ford's bag of dominance.ford rules hands down!!!

The Person Opposite To Me In The Opposite House They Own One Of These And They Keep It In Their Drive All The Time So Every Day I Wake Up To See A Noble M400 I Never Get Bored Of It.

@xxMafia101 You can use it everyday if you need to but its not made for that and would be a waste. All that potential just sitting in commuter traffic everyday would be unecessary, but if need be, it can definitely do it. I drove mine accross the west coast in a road rally and it drove wonderful.

The noble is not a "track car" it is daily driveable. Neighbor has been daily driving his since 07, with NO problems at all. My friends dad also daily drives his 09 vette ZR-1

@carfan2k2 LMAO @ Your statement. one I have two friends that daily drive Vettes just fine. An the guy live up the street from me, has been daily driving his 07 noble since he bought it. No problems...Soo, your statement is inaccurate man.. Practicle,no. but it is done.

You can't really use a Corvette as an every day drive car unless you just want your ego to show off ... its not economical enough to be an every day drive car
