Very rare Birmingham post punk 45 from around 1978/9 private pressing, judging by the writing on the outer sleeve it was destined for the legendary Bob Harris's ears

  • Thanks for the post!

ORPHAN was a post punk new wave band based in Birmingham UK, founded by singer/songwriter Phill J Dunn. Mainly a gigging band, worked all over the country with 3 main residencies. Recorded 2 albums - ‘PHOBIAS’. The unreleased 2nd explored a more complex new wave pop-rock form, one of the tracks ‘DIFFERENT LEVELS’ was recently featured in Dunn’s Director's Reel. (Dunn is also a filmmaker)

More info available under ‘NOTES’ of Dunn's Facebook - PhillipJamesDunn

    Cheers

  • Very good tune! I first stumbled on this post a few months ago. Since then i tried to find out some info about the band, but aside from their discography on the Worthless Trash website, couldn't find anything else on the web! :( Not to mention any of their records! Is there somewhere where i can find these?

Do you have the A-side of this too?

  • great song!! B side please!
