My response to being fired a week ago.

It was one week ago today I was let go from 98.9 The Rock due to corporate-companywide budget cuts. I've put some clips up here and there from the last week, but this would be my first and presumably last comment about the downsizing. Thanks to all who've emailed, IM'ed and hit me up on the "TWIT-MY-FACE-TUBE" (watch: new to the English lexicon. A way to address all the social networking websites without having to say them all ;)

I'm a TV journalist, same thing happened to me last week. That's that, life is a bitch, better times are ahead definitely, someday the editors/owners whatever, will understand the mistake they made and it'll go straight into their face. Peace out man, take care and I wish you all the best!

in every town i've spent any time listening to radio in, the morning show was the face and personality of the station and everyone else was bland and interchangeable. 98.9 was truly unique, since no matter when i listened, i knew i'd be hearing a real dj with some spark that kept me interested. with great people like paul, moose, johnny and the crew all around him, i'm sure the new guy will be great, so this isn't a cut at him, but nights are never gonna be the same. good luck, horns up! \m/

Man I work nights at the Super Target in Liberty and you and Johnny were the only reason I would ever turn on the radio. I listened to your show every night before I went to work. Nothing good to listen to now. Guess I'll have to go buy a damn cd player for those drives to work. Good luck out there man! We'll miss ya!

Hey man, I used to listen to The Pit all the time and you and Johnny were my favorite two DJs on the station. I even got my picture taken with you at the Fireworks Store here in Odessa. You will be missed, I hope the next station you work at will be in the KC area. Peace.
