Wrong! Baseball was thrown out of the olympics because mlb refused to put their star players in it, just college or unwanted minor leaguers, unlike the NBA and NHL who put their best in.

Baseball has been thrown out of the olympics as it is is not a global sport. The chinese seem to like football and basketball, ohh and table tennis [ping pong]. Baseball has lost popularity in japan and has never got going in china, I doubt it ever will.
