Its not strange English people and Frensh pople have different oppinions about Bonnoparte. I think the English historybooks describes Napoleon different than the French. Just a thought. =) Sry for my bad english.

@konvict63 He never did, Britain where the ones who wanted the war to continue, Napoleon sued for a white peace several times. However, once the English offered peace Napoleon acceped, so they changed the conditions of peace to include France giving up lots of land and return to the 1792 year borders. Napoleon refused and was defeated.
