I used to show this video to my students in preschool back in *cough* 1988. I still have my copy lyrics book. This brings back a LOT of memories!!! But I think this was my favorite song.

Holy Cow! It's been close to 20 years since I've seen this! It's actually as old as I am... and I used to love watching this (I think I still have the video... as worn out as it is!).

This would be a great tool for teaching younger children, but I'm afraid that OrgasmicPancakes is right... unfortunately, it's the Spongebobs of the world that rule the television these days... and that's what the children get to learn from, sadly. Kids need morals and values, this would really help 'em w/ that.
