This video is a demonstration of how Chris can utilize his Prone Position to avoid cross-ups. This was taken directly from the Brady Games official guide, and I do not take any credit for this. I simply just wanted to show this technique in a video for other players to see its potential.

  • I've been maining Chris since day 1 of vanilla. The guide definitely has some useful Chris strategies, but using prone to dodge cross ups seems like such an impractical tactic.

  • @MagicantProductions I hear ya'. Believe it or not, I pulled it off in a match, which worked in my favor, but situations like that are few and far between. At the very least, it's just something good to know.

  • How many times does that low gun shot to One-Two work? Is two (the amount he did in the video) the max number of times you can perform that?

  • @PeiWeiCafe Yeah, two is the max, off normal hit and throw. They flip out if you attempt a third one. Of course, you can get fancy and find an assist to continue the One-Two.

I have another video covering combos from the guide -- you should check that out. :)

  • Finally, good Chris videos.

  • Looking forward to more Chris videos!

  • Brings new meaning to "taking it lying down".

  • @AzerZaldivar Ohh!! Good to know! I'm going to go over and check that video out too! And if I remember correctly canceling from the gun shot at all is "new tech" in a way for Chris in Ultimate, right? He couldn't do that in Vanilla (aside from THC like Wesker)?

  • 1:06 LOL

  • this is awesome :] thanks for posting

  • @puroresuraa Yes, that's true (cambosam may have pointed this out to me as well). I never really paid much attention to it then because the start-up on Prone Position was something like 27 frames and just as bad on the recovery end. Now it's active in 10, which I think is exploitable. But you're right. :)
