  • Oh dear. I must agree in part with the comment just below, although this version of music that began following Vatican II in 1965 is what drove many Catholics away--despite its intent to attract followers. It's great that social networking can bring mass into the homes of many who will see it, but the Catholic mass, unlike some protestant forms of worship, exists not only for the reading of scripture and prayer, but also for the re-enactment of the sacrament of communion, absolution, fellowship.

  • This is not representative at all of the Catholic churches I've been to.

  • Where is the incense? Where is the choir? Where are the bells at the appropriate points during the Eucharist? This is not like it was when I was a child. This almost seems like the Catholic church is trying to be all things to all people at the expense of the Mass I know and love!

  • Gotta love the guitar players =)

  • why do you have guitars in the mass? please explain? where is the gregorian choir?

  • @holyholyholyorgankid the organ is much better and should only be used to help the chanter and not for entertainment.

  • Guitars are killing the Catholic Church.

  • Very allusive for Advent, folllowed by Christmas Eve when Christ was born in a Manger of Bethlehem. A great devotion for arrival of our Lord Jesus from his mother's womb. A great night when a star was shining brighter and all shephers went to the stable to adore him. As the song says "There's a new Kid in town"

  • Anathema sit.

  • That is one messed up version of Veni, Veni!
