  • The biggest problem with the phone right now is no storefront to buy it from and no storefront customer service. Apple sold so many iphones the first week because people could walk in the store and buy them for 299 with no contract attached. Googles phone is great but having to purchase the expensive contract along with it or else pay 530 dollars and deal with customer service through email and do all this without being able to even play with the phone first is just asking too much.

  • ummm...... Ok?

  • crawl in a hole a and die.

    that Blueberry is awesome.

  • that was a compliment! That dudes sexayy

  • I think you make a good point. While it probably won't turn out exactly like your prediction (it hardly ever does), I think it's pretty clear Google will start subsidizing phones with advertising.

Perhaps they wouldn't need a wireless network though? Just a partner.

If it was an occasional text message (or maybe video messaging) rather than taking over your device, I would buy.

    Well done.

  • smile...

    I have been called worse!

  • you look like bill nye the science guy (:

  • I dont think google can buy t-mobile.

  • You know, I've been saying the *EXACT* same thing as this fellow for months now. Ever since I first got Google Voice (Google invite) and realized it worked with Gizmo (no phone bills for months now!), I had a feeling something was up. When Google bought Gizmo, I KNEW it.

All they need to do is buy out a cell provider at this point, offer a data-only package for cheap or free (ads as he says), and it's the end of cell phones as we know them, and the birth of true full mobile VOIP...and more.

  • + google voice...

anyway, google target is YOU !!!!
