Actually this SUV derives a lot from the 2002-2004 Isuzu Axiom. I'm pretty sure the company just bought all the parts from the axiom and produce them the same way. The Axiom as built in the US and is a great reliable car. If this car is anything like the axiom then I wouldn't mind purchasing one of these.

дизель брать смысла нет... у меня бензиновый, а от друг взял дизель... печально))
дал он мне по рулить помню раз... при выезде из киева решил сделать обгон... экстрим ещё тот) спомнил ощущения когда на своем (бензиновом) ехал в Карпаты с прицепом)) розгон очень вялый...

@cobraxa i agree........i'd driven even a duster(a 2010 eurpean car - for those amateurs who criticise everything on the first glimpse)....the duster is pretty much a piece of shit compared to the hover, and btw i'm a hover owner and unlike most modern suv's it can do some serious offroading with stock parts

This is what I found out about the Great Wall Hover after doing a bit of research:
"One of the reasons for the in comparison low retail price of the Great Wall Hover is that it is based HEAVILY on older models by OTHER manufactures. The entry-level motor is supplied by Mitsubishi, the exterior is based on a 2002 Isuzu Axiom and the chassis from a Toyota 4Runner."
The interior and body looks just like the 2002Isuzu Axiom. The front bumper looks like the 2004 4Runner.

Hover is a mix of old japan engines, old frame SUVs with exterior and interior of Isuzu Axiom
