Decorating cupcakes #72: Tiered wedding cake

This one needs some improvement, but you can see the potential for a really cute cupcake.
A fancy cupcake wrapper like I showed in video #71 would dress this cupcake up a LOT! I didn't discover them until recently though.
Found the idea for this in Betty Crocker's "big book of cupcakes"

I would suggest using a long skewer to keep the cupcakes stacked while frosting then you can easily pull them out and cover the hole with the topping.

So adorable! The toothpick made me a little nervous, a friend of mine actually bit into a sandwich that had a toothpick "hidden" and impaled the roof of his mouth. :( Maybe a little "warning" beside the tray of cupcakes when you serve them? Just a suggestion. :) Love your videos and all your ideas!

@baxtersmomma I agree, toothpicks are certainly not the very best thing to put inside of food. What I should have done was put the pieces together, skim coat and then thoroughly chill to make it stable enough to finish frosting.

How long does the melted chocolate take to harden ?
