I really can see Apple implementing this in some new Mac/iOS platform such as the new iMacs/Macbooks. It just looks... beautiful.

@antoin654 I see your point and I understand why some would like it. I really don't mind the taskbar though especially in win 7. I don't care how the windows stack up because the taskbar is always accessible and quick.

I've never ever had to 'sort through a pile to find a window' especially browser windows. Its one click on the taskbar and then simply scrolling through my tabs, since when do people open a new browser window for every page?

I just find this new APP system very cluttered.

Yeah... I think I'll stick to a simple mouse and existing windows system. This looks too confusing and too much.

@unluckylion About games in the other hand... I can agree with you. Just one thing there... games we have on the market are made for use with a mouse. With a system like that thrown in the market and getting popular games will shift in using the resources that the device offers... for sure it's not a very fast transition, but multi-touching is getting popular quite fast.

@unluckylion To be quite honest I believe that this kind of system can achieve a MUCH higher precise work. What we have to keep in mind is that this video is clearly a concept project... just imagine a pen on the side of that giant surface... Assemble an accurate surface with a lot of "points of pressure" and voalá... a beautiful multi-touch capable tablet. For working with photoshop or anything of design, ilustration, animation, video, 3D a tablet is much much better than a mouse.

this is nice, but a bit too excessive and unnecessary. I hope Apple just expands their magic trackpad to cover the entire palm rest. That would be a great addition, as the current model can be a bit restricting.
