"Aliens" do not communicate in space. They communicate in hyperspace. And the reason disclosure has not taken place is because there are multiple races of "other worldly" intelligence that consider the human race an experiment. We are their "lab rats". When the experiment is completed, our time will be up and they'll likely discard this planet. Humans are a genetically engineered race.
