Your style jams. Can you get your drummer to tape you doing another "Bass Technique"- where you expand on this video from 1:01 on to the end... just a few more minutes is good. It is one of the funkiest and simplest riffs i have ever heard. Just do even one more minute would be cool too.

Rite on man. I'm over here in the bay. I practiced mostly Jaco stuff and I play mostly natural minor and minor pentatonic scales.

what is your bass body wood? maple or mahogany? u play great...

I pluck with 2. Index and middle. I saw some like 8 year old kid doin it at guitar center and went home and worked on it.
