Hahaha well im not suprised that its me either because this sort of stuff always seems to happen. But my dad said he doesnt think its completely blown and it might have just been the voice coil getting really hot to the point where it was going to blow if i kept doing that for another week or so. We are going back out to my car today to see if this is true lol.

Its an Alpine MRP-M650 600watts RMS at 2ohms. Yes i know it was clipping like crazy and i forgot that i only set my gain perfect for 15 volume not 22 so i blew my sub lol. Buying another one and this time im going to double check my gain :).

I actually got it to have like twice the excursion back when i had it. Unfortunately i let my friend borrow it and he cranked it while i was frozen out in his car from being -5. It sucks still havnt gotten a replacement......

Haha. You need to see if you head unit will let you not send the lower frequencies to the four channels so you can turn it up more. I did that with mine, I can't remember what it's called.
I only have a 200watt amp driving two 10"... but from what I've heard with it not set all right, mine is louder!

Since the sub is broken in you can probably give it a little more power. I know a M650 can rock that sub cuz I once had my 2 R 12's each running of a M350 at 55% power and they moved more than yours does! I know you're tryin not to blow it again, i'm just addicted to excursion!!

In this video the gain was just a tad to high.
But its not totally broken it just has the smell absorbed into everything in my trunk. And everything in my car is ratteling like crazy now so yah lol.
