I'm pretty sure that the click came from the starter relay on the siren pole. You must have an excellent mic to pick it up from that distance.

There's also a T'bolt 1003 at the corner of McKnight Rd. and County E (fire station #2). Also, there's an STH-10 by the Vadnais Heights water tower, located at County E and US 61. I don't know if that STH-10 is in service, though.
