Renaissance - Ashes Are Burning from the album "Ashes Are Burning" (1973)
- Annie Haslam / lead vocals
- Jon Camp / bass, vocals
- Terrence Sullivan / drums, percussion, backing vocals
- John Tout / keyboards, backing vocals
- Michael Dunford / acoustic guitar
I was in the mood to listen to it again after a long time ( have it somewhere on vinyl ), same power, same impact!! Beautiful!!!

@JottScintille His name is Andy Powell and yes he did play the guitar solo finale. Cozy Powell was a drummer.

: Is it true that the last guitar solo was played by Cozy Powell from Wishbone Ash?

@moodyblues41 This is how the studio album ends.I did see them once but I don't remember any more to this song. is it on their live album?.

@CFR206
That's why I prefer the live finish with Annie solo-ing and going for one last "burning the WAAAAY". :D

This song should be recognisd as an absolute classic. Prog classico rock at it's very best. Shame R couldn't finish it better than just a fade.
