Yes, who doesn't want to be a princess? Well it's hard when you have a devilish woman as a stepmother, and two ugly stepsisters.
Yea, I love this song, "Bette Davis Eye" By Kin Cornes. I thought that this movie went along with it so perfectly.
Who is Bette Davis, you may ask. Well here is some info on her:
Bette Davis was a strong-willed, independent personality and a unique, powerful star. Large eyes, clipped New England diction, and distinctive mannerisms—including extravagant cigarette smoking—engendered frequent imitation. She made some 100 films, for which she received 10 Academy Award nominations, winning best actress twice.

Brings back memories! Cinderella was the first Disney cartoon I owned and I must have watched it a million times when I was a kid! Every single time I watched it, I'd get all upset for her and then happy when she did that dance with the prince

That scene where Lady Tremaine realizes that Cinderella is the owner of the glass slipper just before she locks Cinderella in her room is so exquisite, especially with the use of the darkening shadow on her face. It makes her look so superbly sinister. You just KNOW something bad is going to happen next. If only I could produce that effect on myself in real life...perhaps the peons of the world would give me my due respect!
