In late 2002 Mike Maney (lead guitar, vocals) and Jason Sunkes (rhythm guitar), of Victory recording artists STIGMATA, who also have toured all over the world. Joined forces with Dan Dinsmore (drums) and Brendon Slater (bass) of THE CLAY PEOPLE (Featured on both Universal Soldier & Strangeland sountracks ,Produced By Mike clink) to form DEAD RABBITS. Although the band already existed 2 years prior with Maney as the only member, playing all instruments and self producing a demo. It did not take long for the others to come aboard to bring this rock monster known as DEAD RABBITS to life! Playing numorous live shows with the likes of HIGH ON FIRE, ANDREW WK, and a long list of others . DEAD RABBITS decided it was time to record these songs for real this time. They hit the studio, seeking the help of friend/engineer Bret(t) Portzer Max Trax Studios Albany NY, to record drum tracks. The rest would be tracked at Maneys Saratoga NY Home/Studio. Thus "sin eater would be spawned. -DEAD RABBITS sin eater has been described as .. -LYNYRD SKYNYRD on Steroids -The brutality of metal and the charm of southern rock . -"Frankenstien with a wrecking ball!-heavily Sabbath influenced confrontational hard rock! - For Fans of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and CORROSION OF CONFORMITY.
