Bringing Ashley Home - Part 1- AJ Cook

When her wild younger sister Ashley, who suffers from bipolar disorder and drug addiction, goes missing, Libba Phillips pours all her time and energy into finding Ashley and bringing her home. As the years go by, Libba refuses to give up hope, and, at the expense of her marriage and career, Libba finds her calling in life: creating a much-needed resource center for other families whose missing loved ones have fallen through the cracks.

it didn't do any good they got her back and she ran away again. libba is a nasty low class fascist at heart! and an obsessive. some people have such many huge problems they really can't be helped and thanks to ronald reagan's republicans there is no money for help from the state.

This is such a great movie. It's so sad, though. If only back when Libba and Ashley were kids the family could have found out sooner about Ashley's disorder. :(
