A video clip of a street in Leiden, Netherlands showing the centreline removed and cycle lanes added for a "Cycle Proactive" roadway. Centrelines tend to do three things: Increase speeds, decrease separation between vehicles, and reduce peripheral acuity. In this Dutch example, one can see the benefits to non motorised traffic when the centreline is removed.
