  • Wait this thing has a flanger on it? (The crash cymbal at 1:12, panned hard left). This was ALL done on the RX7? FUCK. NICE.

  • @Geeljasjes so in theory if i could just have alot of floppydisks

  • @ChiefofBuddha

The DX7II had a floppy drive.

The number of songs you could save on a floppy depends on how long and comlicated your songs are.

Saving the midi data was only possible between Yamaha products of that time.

  • @Geeljasjes how much memory ? how many songs could you put on one harddrive

  • @birkut Is a after-edit sound. RX7 has a lot of non-percussion internal sounds like basses, guitars, strings, voices("Get Funky" is very funny!) etc.tou can edt tune, time(velocity) & many other parameters. I did complete songs with only my RX7 when I started my studio. I had them DX7,TX81Z,SQ1,EPS16,R8,Atari1024(with Cubase),MC300... With time my studio grows (Now I play JV2080,V-synth-xt, OASYS 88,Alesis&Roland e-drums, Akai S5000. Digital mixing, effects,& other devices... I love music!

  • Brings back great memories.

I had so much fun using this machine.

The simplicity and features on the RX7 I still haven't found on any other bit of gear.

Memory is limited, but I use to save everything to the MDR of my DX7II.

  • great!

how you made this crashing glass sound in 1:08 ??

This is internal sound from RX 7 ?

  • Laminat ...LoL ...der ist ja mal richtig Fun !!! sehr gut !
