@blazedafrodon Get a single VFR CPL don't worry about multi or an instrument rating, I didn't even bother with ATPLs, they will come in good time then get yourself to Namibia or Botswana and throw your log book around. Thats where most guys start, don't bother emailing them you won't get a reply, they hire locally and most guys just show up log book in hand looking for that first job. Try get some 206/210 time if you can but I only had 172/182 and 170TT Good luck!
@Ramster211 Depends what your on. Wouldn't be more then 60k USD. My first job in Aus flying a 206 I was getting paid about 28K but when your hour building you can't be fussy. I know some guys on twin otters on about 80k but thats the limit really anywhere in the world for bush work. The plus side is there is FA to spend your money on and the flying is like you'd never experience. You'll miss it once you start RPT multi crew work.
Gods speed!!! It does look like fun!!!! :)
