I remember this video quite vividly. So many people here knock on it, but you perhaps don't realize that this video is eight years old. This is pre-xbox, WoW and all that junk. It was groundbreaking stuff for it's day. It's a shame it was canceled!

These animations are more fluid then most MMORPG's to date. It's really too bad they didn't continue with it.

First off... I play both UO and Wow! UO's PvP, if you're on a good server is no match for Wow. UO is what really started all MMORPGs (RuneScape, WoW, EverQuest, etc.) It was the foundation! WoW has so many players because no other games can hardly compete nowadays due to WoW running the market so long. If the release of UO 2 wasn't cancelled, I doubt WoW would even last a year. But for the sake of argument, I've had way better PvP in UO, but WoW has more players and mobs for me to kill! =)

"IMO", I think people should stop playing games that are as restrictive and full of powergaming potential as World of Warcraft. I like games where you can actually have variety like Ultima Online, City of Heroes, or Champions Online, and so on.

Nah, back then there werent as many idiots in WoW. Pre-bc was the best time to play becuase it had good content. Now everything is just given to you.

IMO i think you should ask the person their dps becuase how can you get the boss down with low dps? not that im bitching or anything....lol

@ilikewarhammer Personally I think anyone that takes the game so seriously as to bitch about how much "DPS you can pull" or "how much GS you have" needs to take a long break and reconsider the fact that they're playing an online internet fantasy video game.

Im a WoW player and i admit WoW is totally based on gear not skill if you have a 5k GS+ you get into icc like that...i remember when people were like "How much dps do you pull?" Now they are like ..."link gearscore."

Great you have a 5k GS but that doesnt mean you can auto pull 5k DPS....without UO,Daoc,Gamesworkshop,lord of the rings...WoW would not be were it is today.
