She did have Three Children, and I know there names, 1. Justus 2.Simon 3.John, they dont list the females, but the two are "Julia and Arria Pheobe", all together 3 Sons and 2 Daughters.

I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS STORY, BUT MARY MAGDALEN MUST HAVE PLAYED A PIVOTAL ROLE IN JESUS CHRIST'S LIFE . IT NO DOUBT IS PLAYED DOWN BY THE POSITION WOMAN HAVE TAKEN FOR MILLENNIA . YET I'M SURE THAT COMING FROM THE TALE END OF THAT ERA, WOMEN WERE MOVERS AND SHAKERS IN THE BACKGROUND , THAT'S WHAT I SAW, HIDDEN POWER , NOT DEMANDING , MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE .

@marihilt LOL so I'm guessing you don't know that the 'easter bunny' is actually a hare and that the hare was 'laying' red eggs long before anyone dreamt up this cover-up story ?

Okay, thats a lie.

@kanelalee no, its only a controversy, yet not proven. but i think mary MAY have been His wife.

It moves too fast making it hard to read all the writing.
Mary Magdalene was not just a follower of Jesus, she was his wife and they had three children. kathleenmcgowanDOTcom/mainDOTh

fellhearts. I'm traveling and cannot correspond via email.
It's not clear exactly where this legend originated. The best answer is that it's "traditional".
For more info on the origins of the Red Egg legend, a good place to start is at RosettagramsDOTcom (just "Google" rosettagrams) for a link. On the Rosettagrams home page, click the "Mary Magdalene" link on the left side. There is a lot of MM "lore" info there, including the Red Egg story.
