No, naehuddy.  By the Light of the Silvery Moon is the sequel, released in 1953. The original, On Moonlight Bay, was released in 1951. I'm absolutely positively positive about that. =)

nope. By the light of the silvery moon is the sequel! I'm an expert when Doris Day is concerned! This is one of my favorite musicals she made!

Actually Wesley also played the little boy "Bobby" in the 1951 All time Sci-Fi Classic THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. That new version last year has nothing on this classic B&W version.

Actually, "on moonlight bay" is the prequel to this movie.
