Vlore to Himare 2009

Vlorë or Vlora is the second largest port city of Albania, after Durrës,
with a population of about 94,000 (2008 estimate).Vlorë occupies an
eminence near the Bay of Vlorë, an inlet of the facing the Adriatic Sea,
almost surrounded by mountains.

Llogara Tourist Village perfectly blends in the landscape of a high pine forest,
which is a National Park.The sea and the beach are not too far away and during
the hot summer you can breathe the fresh air of the mountains and during the
winter you will not miss the snow. Near the village you can climb the Llogara
Pass at 1207m over the sea level, where you will enjoy the opportunity of
seeing rare magnificent mountains landscape, the forest and the blue waters
of the Ionian Sea. It is situated about 40 km in south- east of Vlora on the
border between Adriatic and Jon seas. It's altitude ranges from 470 to 2018m.
