REPEAT AFTER ME: All religious fundamentallists are sexually frustrated. All religions have one thing in common - THEIR SPIRITUALITY. It'snot Religion that murders people. It is PEOPLE who murder people. Religion does NOT start wars. People start wars! But those FUNDAMENTALISTS who start war do so because they are MENTAL. They have social, class, sexual complexes. If they go to Church, or Mosque/Temple/Synagogue, it makes them feel a bit "better class". But others in the church look down on them socially. But they still think Heaven awaits them. Does it?

Also, not all mysticism is about a deity, & anyone who spent so much as ten minutes studying religion & mysticism would know that. Taoist have a mystic connection with nature, same with Wiccans although many of them personify it in a kind of pantheism and/or animism...so I guess nature doesn't exist either?

Ohh, & Zen mediation involves seeing the world as it is, which is the exact opposite of a hallucination. According to a Bloomsburg University study, zen monks had a better than average ability to discern illusions from reality, i.e., they were less likely to see things...but what does a University study know? That is pretty scary stuff. Soon this might expand into Christian belief systems all around the world. As soon as a political head makes a statement that he is above the voice of the people, that person needs to be permanently removed from a role that is supposedly voicing the views of the people. I can't believe they aren't tarred and feathered then ridden out on a rail to be honest. I see it as a violation of the duty of the job.

I always wonder how Conservatives can call themselves moral or Christian (following the Teachings of Jesus) when their policies include war for profit (invented by dick Cheney, who registers as #1 representative of conservatives in America) torture, oppression of the poor and the end of humanity through the raping of the planet by corporations (Republican dogma supports NO environmental regulation)?? I could go on and on.... anyone? Who would Jesus bomb?
