See a lot of negitive comments here, i drove Ailsa's for 5 years at Potter Bar for London Buses , great machines, and ours were in a sorry state, but when you were 20 down on market day on the 84's you always had a good chance of getting most of the back...... as long as you had a Ailsa,
I learned to drive on a Fleetline(DMS) and the Ailsa was a revalation to that or the Metrobus's we had top wack mabe 45mph and no chance on a hill, Alisa add another 15 to that and they would go up a hill
Was it Oxford or Cambridge University from which you gained your extensive vocabulary? Or indeed were you personally tutored by Stephen Fry to gather such a grasp of the English language?

Hot, noisy, changing drivers means dicing with death, changing blinds also meant dicing with death. After 5 hours on these you were certainly glad to get off. Fleetlines were much better.

Bags of shit!

I'm afraid not! Lack of cash and the fact that my wife is due to give birth in late August means that we won't be attending Lathalmond this year.
