I personally really enjoyed choreographing this routine. It started off as a piece I did for fun. Then out of no where, I was teaching it in London at Studio 68's Summer Intensive. I had to teach it in two classes because I wanted the class to really get a chance to sink into the moves and focus on that exciting feeling you get when a song like this comes up. I also taught it in San Fransisco for Funkanometry's Company Class which is where I first presented this piece. Although it wasn't finished, I knew teaching it in SF would only help me and inpsire me to finish. They are an amazing crowd to be around. Much love to Funkanometry SF and Studio 68 London. This routine was performed in the teachers set of Studio 68's show in London. It was such an experience working with the other choreographers on this routine. It helped inspire how I would use it for our Boogie Monstarz set that we later formed together at home in Sacramento.
This routine was a fun process, and I am truely happy with how it turned out. The ladies, Jeannelle Baltazar and Amanda Gutierrez gave me the perfect vibe. I hope you all are able to catch our chemistry. Ive shared a lot of my dance life with these ladies. Thank you for watching.
