Danso - Love Story of a Mountain Boy 산골 소년의 사랑 이야기

This instrument is called the danso. It's a traditional Korean instrument similar to the recorder, and traditionally made of bamboo. I'm uploading this to share a part of Korean culture that I'm enjoying learning and taking part in. Thanks. It's not that difficult to learn, although still I sometimes make squeaks and squaks. I have a friend who played the flute a lot and she picked it up much more quickly than I did, so I imagine if you've played another woodwind instrument the similarities with the danso will help you learn quickly.

Amazingly played! This reminds of my childhood back in elementary school in Korea when I was soooooo into playing Danso. Good thing that you are enjoying the Korean culture! (:

If you get any chance, try out Haegeum. I love the timbre coz it's so Oriental!

You are pretty good at it. How long did it take you to learn this song? I am looking at different Korean instruments trying to decide which one I'd like to learn.
