58.5/100 Interesting submission, it makes you stay till the end to find out what the purchase was. In the maybe the juice wasn't worth the squeeze, It drags a little but the concept of a fake documentaery is very funny, next time try to find a concept that is comedic on many levels, good luck.

Did you maybe take into account that the audio from the boom, the rough lighing and lack of cinematic mise en scene may have been intentional? If it looks too polished it takes away from the cinema verti look. If I really did catch someone out in a parking lot for an interview would I have ran out to the nearby highway and stopped the cars for crystal audio? would I have taken time to set up a softbox on someone who wasn't enthusiastic about doing the interview in the first place?

I decided to not use any of those things for a reason. I appreciate the constructive criticism for sure, but I think that the genre of the short should be taken into account.

fucking awesome. This blows all your previous work out of the water. Great editing, great music choice, great script. All the actors were convincing too! Don is discrete and hilarious.

I like how everything felt natural. It seemed like a genuine doc... some of the genuine audio may have been a bit extreme. Though the film did keep me curious as we learned a little more, and the end still piqued my interest, though I left a little unsatisfied. I think I may need to watch it again to pick up on some details. Over all good work, though!
