I agree with angelofhell it's not a modern cockney accent but for that time it's marvelous!

@rosydonut I can't think why people have thumbed you down, you're absolutely right. That accent is absolutely pitifully woeful, almost to the point of vomit-inducing. And I don't think we can even say "It's funny because it's so bad" - I think it's too bad even for that.
